It really is an amazing thing to do.. We did it it Vegas a couple of years back. See it while you can! And take note of the staff running around every hour checking the humidity of the exhibits!

Thank you Melinda for the work done towards the Titanic Exhibition, unfortunately there has been a slight mix up with the museum. We cannot do a group booking but still as per Melinda's e mail you will need to contact the museum to book your tickets in your own name. Tickets cost $24 adult, Chn $16, Con $18 Family 2 adults 2 children $66.
There are two methods of booking Ph 131102 and pay by credit card, they will give you a reference number and you collect your ticket on the day. You can also book online, this incurs a $2 booking fee per person and you print out your own ticket. www.museumvictoria.com.au
At this point in time there are 39 tickets available for the 1pm time slot and 80 tickets available at 1.30 pm also some tickets available for 12.30 pm on the 29th of August. Once inside the Exhibition there is no limit on the time you can spend inside.

well I was saved by a fellow PT thankyou ... PTGT Black Panther has booked for us 2 and a few ... 1.00 1.30 booked out .... so we are in for 2pm ..... plenty of time for lunch between meeting & expo .. all is good again ... better get in quick if U haven't already ...

Dennis and I saw this exhibit when we were in Las Vegas last year and it is EXCELLENT. Very moving and so interesting. Makes you feel like you are really on board. I recommend this to everyone. Jan

Three PT’s met at Todd Road around 9.15am, It was great to see Erica up and about on her new ball joint !! we then drove into the city for our bi monthly PT meeting at the “Beer DeLuxe”, soon after joined by 1 more PT and a 300C !! the meeting ran for about an hour . There was a lot discussed and organized for future meetings and possible PT runs. We then decided to stay and have brunch before heading off on the “City Circle” tram to the Melbourne Museum for the Titanic Exhibition. Brenton and family had to leave earlier than us as they had managed to get into the 1pm departure. We arrived around 1.15 pm, meeting up with family and friends who were travelling with us, we picked up our tickets for the 2.00 pm session. Most of us had a sticky beak in the gift shop to fill in some time. There were 4 groups setting off at different times. We were in the second group & the third group, Flmdpt & Tony & Maryanne with two guests on board (3pm depart) arrived as we were about to enter the expo and we caught a glimpse of the 1pm family leaving !! We arrived on board the Titanic shortly after 2.00pm, had our passport photos taken, and everyone was given a passenger card for our journey, and what a journey it was ! there was plenty to see and touch while in the exhibition. I think we were in there for about and hour and a half, there were also lots to read on the wall as well. We were also able to look up whether we survived or drowned on this great ship. Quite moving and sad in some ways. What a magnificent exhibition, I think everyone who went on this journey was spellbound!!. We did keep an eye out for Helen & David that were rumoured to be later than 3 p.m but we didn't spot them ! Until our next PT run keep Cruising and keep in touch with your fellow PT’ers.
