Once again we have been invited by the Victorian Chrysler Restorers Club to attend their annual Show n Shine day at Caribbean Gardens in Scoresby. This is a great day out and also a chance to mix with another Chrysler Club. It is great that the club recognises the modern mopars as well in this day. Below is some information for you. Sunday October 18 at Caribbean Gardens , Caribbean Gardens being located at the corner of Stud Road and Ferntree Gully Road Scoresby Victoria . Entry to the event is only the cost of admission to Caribbean Gardens $2.50 per adult and $1.00 per child.

In 2008 the event drew over 210 vehicles from the 30’s to modern day with the vehicles being judge in the following categories.

Best Veteran or Vintage, 1931–1942, 1946–1954, 1955–1960,1961–1968, R&S, AP5–AP6-VC, VE-VF-VG, VH-VJ-VK, CL-CM, 1968-On Muscle Car, Best Modified, Best Original Un-restored, David Mills Perpetual Trophy, George Porter Perpetual Trophy, Presidents Perpetual Trophy, New Age Mopar, Charger, PT Cruiser and 300C.

As indicated in the flyer with the display being held at the market Caribbean Gardens also offers fun for all the family not only with the cars on the display but the market has over 1000 stalls, computer market/swap meet, rides, BBQs, restaurant and kiosk

for those that didn't know .. We still have some LUCKY straws and PRZES from the hippy night that we will be taking along ... $1 a straw with 1 in 5 chance of winning a prize .... no sheep stations to win but a bit of fun !! ... all proceeds go to the club for future events and prizes !!

well what a weekend ;D .. and what a show & shine !! .. the weather was clear and we had sunshine !!! .... it was so good to see Vicki again .. meet Kylie from QLD and Scott & the gang from Chrysler HO with the mopar drag car .. also see that tony and crew from my local dealer in Berwick "working" so hard !! .. thanks for your help getting the pics I needed and the freebies for FUTURE raffles etc and of course for their continued sponsorship to the Chrysler Restorers at the Caribbean. we hade 16 modern mopars for our club display (there were a heap of 300C and others scattered around the show) including two newbies black PT (Midnight sky)with monica and Jim .. inferno cabrio with Jacqi it is always great to have new PTs and lovely owners along .. with apologies from Wytchie, Bonny B, XLNTPT (Wendy it was good to see U could make it with Terry & his classic & we hope you are fealing better VERY soon) & Trucrz .. more reporting soon ... thanks Vicki for your excellent assistance with Kiwi Patriots BDAY, the trophy collecting and representing ( Ian said to say HI !!! U R welcome anytime !!) and Plums & roses minding & cruisin .. including the jump start ( I left the tail gate open all day !!) and the cruise to Head office .. what A big day she had !! PICS .. I didn't get as many as usual:blush: .. I was busy!! if any one has anything to add or better pics than I have PLEASE don't hesitate to post or email to me & I can post for U ...

I've not seen it GO in 3d but have seen it on the YOUtube (thankyou !!!) heard all about how it is in WA NEXT .. and was going to be on HD1 (?) TV Sunday night at 8.20 pm ... bugger I missed that too !!
