Date:- 7th & 8th November, 2009
Destination:- Benalla, Yarrawonga, Wangarratta, Hot Rod Show @ Bright

We will meet at the Excelsior Hotel carpark (cnr Edgars Rd and Mahoneys Rd
Thomastown) at 7.15 a.m. for an 7.30a.m. prompt departure.

We will head to Benalla for a short break (TEA COFFEE AND OR CAKE), we will then head to the famous Yarrawonga for a cruise around the lake on the beautiful M.V. Paradise Queen for a B.B.Q Lunch at a cost of $22.00 per head.(incl chop/sausage/rissole & 5 fresh salads) The boat will be leaving at 12 p.m. sharp from Yarrawonga Foreshore, on the corner of Murphy and Banks strs

All persons who are not meeting at the Excelsior hotel will have the opportunity to meeting up with the convoy at either Benalla or directly at Yarrawonga. (If you are one of those person/s please have the courtesy to notify just so we have the numbers for booking on the boat. Contact either Maryanne or Myself

For Saturday night, as we are having a B.B.Q lunch we can as per usual have our traditional Saturday night B.B.Q or we can all have something different e.g pizza , maccas or maybe even a club meal. We will all decide after checking in on the day.

Sunday 8th November
After Breakfast (at own expense) we will head off to Bright at 9a.m. for our short trip to visit the Hot Rod Show which is being held at the Football Oval this year (Deacon Ave).





We will leave Bright for our cruise back home at 3p.m. This should be a fantastic/full weekend and we hope to see you join us on this trip. So book the Motor inn as soon as you have decided to join us as we don’t want you to be disappointed by having to find somewhere else to stay.
For those who are interested a short stop at Milawa for the usual stops of Brown Bros, Milawa Cheese Factory, Olive and Mustard shops.

Great - been looking for something on this for awhile (but hadn't got off my fat behind to chase anything).

Just booked the motel for Saturday night. I also note it is Nov 7/8 (I think earlier info said Nov 2 -which is a Monday).

As usual this conflicts with my golf club championship so I will not meet up with you guys Saturday morning but Xiang and I will catch up with you later in the day at the motel.

According to my wonderful shift work roster, I am working Saturday and Sunday night shift, so sadly, Zelma and I will not be attending this year.
It is a great fun weekend.

good news and bad news ..... I'm still working on EGsactly what WE are doing ... Phantom is working VERY hard so I am trying to get him to take the WHOLE weekend off ... the BOAT cruise COULD be the clincher !! .. time will tell

WELL done to all those have have booked and confirmed already ..... I heard that teh motel has just one Family room left at present ..... seems it will be a busy weekend up there ...

Believe if I can remember correctly from the people at the old motel that there's a big girl thing on in Wangaratta.
Netball or basketball competitions I think they said. That's why they would only take a minimum 2 night booking.

At least we could get plenty of waves from the teeny bopper girls.

We would love to be there,

But the purchase of our new 2009 Special edition has taken priority maybe next time have fun guy's.

... so I am primed and ready to go ... not too sure if phantom is going to make the weekend yet .. he has to find a SHOP sitter & dog sitter first ...

Unfortuantely I now have to withdraw (blasted work travel). I was looking forward to this as well. Anyone looking for accommodation? You can have my booking if you get in fast otherwise I will have to cancel in teh next day.

Oh well. There is always next year and see you Victorian guys at our December run.
