A general meeting and get together for coffee will be held on the 29th of August at the Beer Deluxe Greek Tavern in Federation Square at 10am. All members welcome. This will be followed by a visit to the Titanic Exhibition.

I've not heard or read from any one else SE or down this way ... all Pt & modern mopar family are welcome to the meeting we will have plenty of time for coffee & cake ... don't have to be on "comittee" .. the weather looks like it may clear for sunday .. I may try to go across the river to the market between meeting & titanic .. have a few Bday's to buy for . a city change .. instead of a seachange

What a great day Sunday. The meeting was extremely positive and we have made some progress towards promoting the PT club. We have one new member and two more potential members so things are moving forward nicely.
The general feeling of the meeting was that as a club we need to raise some funds so we will be able to book venues or events without imposing on individual club members. To this end we have set a target of $1500 to be raised by Sept next year. A small step towards this will be to ask each person who comes on a club run to put in a dollar for the priviledge of each others company. We also intend to continue with small raffles at each event.
There are some sponsorship deals which will be followed up that could benefit us greatly.
Types of Cruises were discussed but no dates set for 2011 this will be covered at the next meeting.
Mark reported on a car show he happened across at Bundoora which sounded like a wonderful mix of cars and shopping. It was also suggested to look up other car shows for those interested including a possibility of a display at Federation Square
As Cruise controller Mark will take suggestions about cruises and will then organise all cruises, with Wayne C as his assistant. So please send all your wonderful ideas to Mark at mpellegrino4@bigpond.com
