2002 PT $8300 2 Years, 3 Months ago  
I missed out on the bargain of the decade last Saturday. I spotted a 2002 PT for sale in The Examiner for a measly $8300, so I quickly drove over to have a look at it. 120,000km,full service history, with long rego. The only problem it had was a snapped antenna! As I was test driving the PT, the owner received a phone offer of $7700 , and promptly accepted it. I was shattered....

R U still looking??? .... an inferno still available at Traralgon ... Berwick had a few they are prob Xie in $ as they are Both LMCTs !!

In the meantime, I have discovered that it was a car dealer who made the phone offer, and now sits at the dealer's yard for $12990.

Thanks Wayne, but in that price range there is an 2007 PT Grand Tourer for sale locally with 27000km for $17000.

Hi Rdster,
I have come to realise, that you can put a lot of money and care into a PT and when you come to try and sell it, you get the response from people you gave me. Our journey here in regards to trying to sell WILDPT has been quite disappointing and frustrating.
Hope you find the PT you are looking for.

Pretty damn rude to accept an offer while someone (you) was out having a test-drive... You should go speak to the dealer and tell them you'll take it for 9k and if they start a story, tell them it was you they 'stole' it from while you were test-driving and you know they got it for 7,7 haha

It's the seller's fault for having no patience. When he told me it had sold,I actually offered more than the dealer, but the seller wasn't interested. In the meantime, the dealer has already sold the PT.....

He may have done you a favour! Quite possible there something else wrong with it and he may have been more comfortable for the dealer to suffer with it rather than you.
