Yesterday a group of us caught up with some of our Southern Group members for lunch at Sizzler's Mermaid Beach.Deb & I headed off & picked up Shinning Moon ,then down to Withcott to meet Blue Diamond.After a brief talk it was back on the road to meet Jelly Bean down at Gatton.All was going to plan so far ,then the road works started.It still was a good trip down to Mermaid Beach where Sunset ,Gail,Chief & Squaw where waiting for us .After the meet everyone was over it was time to head in & have lunch.Sorry Ausiecruzar Darrin was not on duty so we couldn't say hello for you.During lunch a lot of stories & laughs were had by all.I think Chief & Gail will be glad to get back home for a rest.The meal was great as always & the desert even better just ask the Squaw how many did she manage to acquire.After lunch we had a few group shots taken & it was time to head back home.It was great to catch up with the The Chief & Gail again & now a few other people can put a names to the faces.Hope everyone enjoyed themselves as we did.On the way home we struck rain for most of the way.Glad to see it rain but we need a lot more.Look forward to catching up with all the Southern Group again at Cotm next year.
Also on the way home Moonlight Express clocked over to 100,000klms.

Was wonderful again to meet up with the northerners and as said above nice to put faces to names we haven't met before.
A very nice lunch and I can vouch for that as we also had dinner there a couple of days before and so convenient for us when up there. Only half a block from our accomm.
Not very much rain on that particular day on the Gold Coast as the main storm hit further west & north. In fact it was the only rain while up there.
The whole week was marvelous. Good weather and VERY good sites at the V8 supercar races....................
Till we get there again we have many pics to keep us reminded of our trip.

Looks like a fun time was had by all. You go Gail, I am sure you were just minding them for Paul as he likes a sweet or too as well.

We are off to Coffs Harbour for a few days, arriving on Wednesday and leaving on Monday. Unfortunately we are not taking the PT, we will be in the Nissan 4 wheel drive, this trip is all about Motorbikes, bush bashing for the boys and shopping and cocktails by the pool for the girls.
