Dont forget there is always the Zen Crema cafe night on the 3rd Saturday night of the month.
All kinds of cars, hotrods etc turn up in the Harvey Norman carpark where we enjoy a meal together and then head down to Maccas for icecream/coffee (The Wooombie mob love their ice cream and/or coffee). This month its on 20/2 and they will be showing a movie in the car park after dinner.

Automania on the Downs is also on, on 28/2 so why not come up for a look?
We'd love to meet you too.

On the way to Zens on Saturday night we passed a black Chev Bellair and I thought it may have been Tiny coming up for a visit.

Zens was a great night out this time around. BBQ plate for $15.50 included steak, chicken, sausage, corn, potato and salad followed by pavlova with cream and fresh fruit.
After dinner we saw a movie in the car park - it was a bit cool and breezy but the movie was great "Secondhand Lions"with Robert Duval and Michael Caine.

I didnt take any pics but Lynda (Vanilla Dream) came along to meet everyone and her daughter, son-in-law and grand-dog came along in their Riley.

On Sunday, we met at McDonalds - Paul, Deb, Tracy, Dennis, Mum and ME. Dennis led the cruise down to Gatton via the scenic Flagstone Creek Road. After a lovely lunch at the Staging Post Inn we spent some time wandering around the Transport Museum. The Museum is mainly dedicated to Western Transport and Mum and I were happy to see four of her brothers honoured by plaques. Their names were also mentioned on the DVD that was playing. Mum saw the old truck one of her brothers used to drive back in the 40's and so she had to sit on the truck in the same spot where she had ridden along on many a trip as a kid.
After the Museum, we headed to Forest Hill to browse around the wonderful Gift Shop there. The old Post Office has been renovated as a Gift Shop and coffee shop - so of course we had to have afternoon tea. Paul followed his weight watchers regime by having an iced chocolate followed by the biggest banana split I've ever seen. Off we went for a short walk over to the memorial park for some pics and then headed home via Gatton, Placid Hills and Grantham.
Another terrific weekend with good friends.
I didnt take many pics so hopefully some of the others will post theirs here.
