Anyway,I have pre-warned the Maze, Vincenzos and the Cheese Factory that we are coming. Needed a time for lunch so I've told them that we'll arrive some time between 12.30 and 1pm.
The Cheese Factory offered a platter of cheese plus a glass of wine for $15 per person. I've told them we'd rather play it by ear on the day depending on what we have for lunch etc but more than likely we'll just try and buy some cheeses and have a coffee, wine, soft drink whatever if they can accomodate. Hope that sounds OK with everyone.

Just want to do a poll on how everyone would like secret santa to happen. Jacqui tells me, option 1 is: get numbers on how many people will be there, put names in a hat, each person gets a name from the hat and you buy a present for that person (must stay a secret ha ha!!). Option 2: (Please correct me Jacqui, if I get this wrong).. Everyone buys a present to the value of $5. They all go in Santas sack. Each person chooses a number from the hat, number 1 takes a present from the santa sack, then number 2 takes a present... and so on... the twist here, is if number 2 likes number 1's present better, they can choose to take number 1's present, then number 1 has to choose again... and so on through the group. This one sounds like fun to me... I will check next Wednesday night 3rd December to see how many votes we have for each one, and post the results of how we will go about it.

Important points: Presents kept to a limit of $5
Theme is Christmas...Dress up yourselves and your cars.
Look forward to Mrs Santa Claus and Santas little helper...driven by Shining - Reindeer!!

Sorry this is a little late, but I think it's unanimous anyway, secret santa, option 2 is a clear winner. So just buy a present worth $5 (limit) and we'll take it from there (those of us with kids will buy for the kids and hope there isn't a war !! Last but not least, I have a BIG and VERY SPECIAL and TOTALLY EXCITING surprise for everyone, and although it's going to kill me to keep a secret until the weekend, I'm going to do my best to not let wild horses drag it out of me You will just have to wait until the day... He he suspense is good
