Rob go all the way. Lower it and a full set of adjustable shocks and you won't have any worries.

Have you tried ringing Sam @ Mopar Motors. He may have a couple laying around from some of the dismantled PT's he has.

Cheif I have a set of lowered springs downstairs off Silver Belle . have rung Sam and he has them in stock .I have also checked out the net for them and found them cheaper but I am not sure of the type that is needed. Having never actually removing a set of rear shocks I am asking around to find out whether I should attempt the job myself.

A man of your talent it should be easy.

Now if I was up that way I'm sure between we could fix or mess it up.

Otherwise I can't help you my friend but I'm sure someone has done it themselves and can advise you soon.

Very easy to do if you are confident and a little mechanicaly minded
I changed my springs in the front yard with
a trolley jack the PT jack and some spring compressors
Cheap set of these are around $20-$30 bucks from auto parts shop
Mine came from there around 15 years ago paid $19.95 and have used them more than a dozen times.
Took me about an hour to do both sides
Give it ago I'm sure you could do it easy enough

Never mate, never.

We might put the front ones on the back or vice versa but the job would get done for sure, I would guaurantee that. Only a few stubbies in between.
