looking for a key and remote for our cruiser have seen them on ebay ex states or are you better to buy through dealer.

I tried the ones on ebay. The US ones have a panic button on the early key remotes which we don't
To code these into your car the panic button is depressed to activate the code to suit your car
Where our (Aus) keys don't have the panic button The code is acessed by depressing the unlock/lock button
I had the dealer use the DRV but it could not be coded
So would advise against US key remotes
Key blanks on the othe hand are a different story

speaking of remotes .. Phantom put frenchies remote key throught eh wahsing machine with his overalls.... still works PERFECT !! ... TOPIC is this the case with the Chrysler ones ???
