TOPIC: Interesting to find parts avail

Interesting to find parts avail 2 Years ago
Recently I took our 04 for a wheel alignment and found to have a shot tie rod end. On investigation at a couple of parts places I found that Chrysler only supply in Australia the full "rack and tie rod end complete' for around $1600.00.
Because it wasn't real urgent I did a bit of searching around and found that Allan at Bleam Chrysler Chrome can supply the tie rod end only for just under $200 which is a substantial saving. Since fitted, had wheel alignment and all is 100% now.

Also had a miss happening in the motor and was a little concerned after reading what others were experiencing with close to the same findings.
Again Allan supplied me with parts and hit it on the head.

Found the original plugs were shot, one in particularly that had split and was firing out through the side into the lead cover and also another lead in not toooo good of condition.

I suppose plugs and leads at 67 K isn't bad compared to some of the K's I have seen on some of the others. people have replaced them as low as 25 to 30 K's.

Thanks Bleam Chrysler once again for helping fix the problems. Like brand new again

Yep I have to agree - he has been a pleasure to deal with when purchasing all of my shiney bits. As far as other parts go, I am still smiling from saving $200 on the electric mirror switch by buying it from the UK on ebay. Arrived within a week, brand new in box. Armstrongs at Toowoomba quoted $240 for the part and approximately 3 working days to get it in. I got it for $48.07 including postage and 5 working days. It was worth the wait.

I agree with all the above comments. Always dealt with Loxy (Allan) and had good service.

OK GUYS..
C'mon you are comparing apples with oranges.
you are comparing Allan, a True professional that scoures the globe looking for thoes day to day parts that make us loose faith in the Chrysler badge.
To the franchises that would rather sell power tools and seatcovers than do any looking in databases to find the correct part.

one example i got from a 18yo "spare parts division manager" supercheap.
"PT cruiser?, have your tried the toyota dealership they would have more chance on finding parts for your landcruiser buddy"
AAARRRGGGGHHH:angry:

WHEN DEALING WITH PROFESSIONALS THERE IS NO COMAPRRISON. Bleam chrysler chrome is your first port of call. even if its for a price so you know that you arent being fleeced by your local parts vendor.
