The Wagga Wagga Classic Motoring club has been planning this event for a couple of years, the Wagga Easter Bush Rally 2010.
Even though we aren’t members of the club we have followed with interest the organising of this event. Held over 4 days certainly takes some organising so a big pat on the back must go to the club.
Registration was on Friday, a run to Coolamon on sat after the show & shine, sun a run to Lockhart via The Rock for morning tea and mon departure day for home.
In between all of this morning teas, lunches and dinners were also organised and a number of small events also.
Even though I had to work all weekend, when I could, I followed them around and took as many pics as I could to show you the variety of cars involved.
I believe over 200 cars were registered and come from most eastern states. My pics were taken over 3 days.
Of special interest was the Morgan Aero from Brisbane and when he starts it , it has a decompression lever so it doesn’t kick back and break your arm whilst cranking it. It attracted a lot of attention over the weekend.
They also own this vehicle.
Sat morning the event was featured on the Sunrise show on Prime tv with many live crosses for interviews and showings of the cars.
And not to be outdone was this very smick 1926 Chrysler Imperial ‘E 80’ which was lovingly rebuilt.
So many beautiful cars and such a big variety.
Enjoy the slideshow.
