Mark Bouris was named as the host of the Australian version of The Apprentice to air on the Nine Network. Mark is an Australia businessman who is best known as the founder and chairman of 'Wizard Home Loans', Australia's largest non-bank mortgage lender. Mark founded Wizard Home Loans in 1996, and in 2004 sold his business to GE money for $500 million.

The search for The Australian Apprentice begins, with 12 candidates from all around the country competing for the life-changing opportunity to be named apprentice to one of Australia's most successful businessmen, Mark Bouris. Billed as the ultimate job interview, each candidate will be put through a series of rigorous business tasks on a weekly basis, each requiring street smarts and intelligence to conquer.

The approach and outcome that each candidate takes toward the challenge will be used to determine whether Bouris and his associates believe they have what it takes to succeed in the world of business. Who will win? Who will fail? Who will be The Apprentice?

Plums & Roses had a vsiti from one of the stars last night .... it will be cruisin the SE burbs of MElb for a while then find amore permenant home ..



I had not seen the swivel seat feature .. they don't come into work. Comment from Lady driver IT is nicer to drive than the manual Dodge (Avenger) that was test driven a few weeks back ... city drives require an auto I am thinking that would have been better!!
