Sunday drive to Wisemans Ferry 2 Years, 5 Months ago

Got a phone call last Sunday morning at about 9.30 From a Harry's regular who we'd seen the night before. Steve(white VE Valiant) seems he was off to a BBQ and wanted to know did we have anything planned. Well... no we didn't But where and who's.
Reply was, meet us at Ettamogah Pub on windsor Rd before 11 am. Um ok will try and make it. So put the mower back in the shed and head off to Rouse Hill. Arrive there around 10.45 drive in to the carpark and theres several old and familar Valiants parked here and there. And all starin at the Lone PT parking amongst them. Get out of the car and head over to the gathering and get a few nods of recognition but no Steve to be seen. Most here are from The Regals car Club and Hunter Valley chrysler club(both previously at Canton beach) after what seemed forever, spot a familar Pink Charger coming into the carpark and not long after Steve arrives. Now start to relax.
Seems the 2 clubs have a BBQ planned at Wisemans ferry and we were more than welcome to attend. So around 11 am 15 chryslers set off. Felt slightly weird, one PT in amongst so many oldies.
The drive down was great as its been along time since I'd been down that way.
Great views and location, the cars all parked together got alot of interest from passersby(yep even the PT) And all were very welcoming with sugestions of a larger one be planned for later in the year or early next year.
I took a few pics.
