Took the 57 away for a weekend to see how it performed on a good run,
Did 600 miles, yes do you remember those old measurements & we averaged 16mpg, not quite the
economy of the PT but then it does weight 2 Tonne & has a 354 V8 under the bonnet

Over looking the Whyalla beach & Spencer Gulf

Nah don't like it Steve. The fins on the back look like the sails of our Opera House.......and I guess at times it sounds like our Opera House to!

ONLY JOKING wow what awesome pictures there Steve and what a classic car. Well done there.

Thanks for the comments guys & gals, the singing has only increased due to it
only having an AM radio that plays all old music that her ladyship just loves to sing to.
All going well the Toga will make an appearance at COTM next year

After our Tassie trip we'll be used to the singing so bring it on for COTM 11.
Nothing wrong with the older music for us oldies Steve.

Be nice to see the 57 there. Start saving now for the fuel tanker to follow you over to keep her going.

Damb Chev people think they invented everything, but we Chrysler people know better.

Don't need the petrol tanker to follow the boot will hold a 44 gallon drum lol

Cars like your '57 were a common sight when I was young (yes, I was young once) - but I NEVER saw one in as good a shape as yours is

Now that's a good compliment Steve. Feel proud of yourself for having such a well looked after car.

With that in the back Ray you will get here & back plus supply fuel for the rest of the Cruisers.

We were impressed with the car when we first saw it, apart from the paint which was applied prior to leaving USA it is in fantastic original condition & we intend to keep it that way.

Steve I love that close up pic of the rear quarter.
