Aah that brings back memories, Pink Panther, my first car was a three on the tree, and then one of the Toranas had a 3 speed Specco Box in it, from memory the panelvan was 3 on the tree too. With the handbrake under the dash and the high beam button on the floor, and indicators that sounded like real indicators ka-doonk, ka-doonk, ka-doonk.
As a kid I would sleep in the back of our XP Stationwagon on long trips and it was always the sound of the 'blinkers'on the last corner before home that would wake me up.

My first, the VG, Parents bought it for me $250 within a week I had ripped out the bench seat put some alloys on it and spray painted the red interior black and put a Harley Davidson sticker on the back window and had the back raised 3 inches

2nd car VH Ranger yep thats me and Joan my younger brother and my mum is sitting in the car. This one belonged to my dad first he had done over 700000 k's in this car when I got hold of it. I had it for a year or so and stripped it for parts as I did with several like this(saving them for the Charger which came later)
