Yes it goes real well
Just fitted some Bridgestone F1s and now gets some traction in second as long as the shift is not to quick otherwise just goes straight to the rev limit
Have a set of 275s Dot Drag radials coming from the States to give it a good go on the dragstrip

I live in Whitford Auckland

Have been building odd ball vehicals since about 13 so with 30 + years you get to think 2 steps ahead otherwise u have to redo things that dont fit
We piced Toyota as Soarer was 10mm widder in track and 15mm longer in wheelbase so I new it would handle well with those components
The Toyota Lexus V8 is light and strong and very compact
R154 toyota gearbox real strong for the torque as the boys run them in the Twin turbo Supras up to 750hp
Hope to get it down the Drag strip next month as the last events have been Rained off

day at the drags 3 Years, 2 Months ago
Our local dragstrip held a test and tune meet on Sunday so as we now have got some fine weather went to see what will do
on the street tyres 1st pass short shifting and taking off slow 13.1 at 109mph wheel spin first and second
tryed again but with a bit more trottle but went slower 13.5 at 110
no traction
fitted the new 255 Hosiers DOT tyres on the rear and went slower as no grip as need a couple of conditioning runs
dropped pressure and found the week link as my gearstick parted company at the rubber sleeve so put the Knob direct on the short shaft that was still sticking out off box
with a small bog off the line got 12.6 at 112mph
looking forward to the first meeting in December where will have Lanch controll and shift light conected
