This is probably a surprise to many that I sold our Black Magic or rather aka "The Stealth" on saturday.
I dont think anyone really knew it was for sale, dont wory neither did I.
It all started back at the All Chrysler Day in November 08 when a couple approached me enquiring was any PT's for sale. My immediate reply was "I dont think so, well not that I'm aware of" but then followed this up with "is there a colour you prefered". Julie's response was Plum and understandibly so, such a nice colour. After a short moment I then said my black could be available even though it wasnt on the market. Julie & Bill wondered up for a look and a sit in and were rather impressed.
From there an exchange of email contacts were made and about a week later Julie emailed expressing her interest in our car.
Both Julie & Bill live in the Central Coast/ Hunter area and are Members of the Hunter Chrysler Car Club.
Well they caught the train down to Sydney in the wee hours of Saturday morn then onto Wollongong where I picked them up and took them out for a run.
Eventually we ended up at the Wollongong Fishing Harbour and sat down at the Kiosk there where the exchange was done. Julie is so excited.
From there we escorted them (in our White one) up Mount Ousley and then onto the Hume Hwy where we faced them north.
Julie phonned me back once they got home and she sounded so excited of her new possession.
Mixed feelings for me especially after detailing it and seeing it in all it's glory but the thing is we just have to many cars here at home and it isnt necessary for us to have a 2nd PT any more.
What I can say is I'm happy for Julie & Bill as I know they will get great pleasure out of having a PT as we did and it changed our lives so I'm sure it will for them as well.
Julie's going to join the forum so we look forward to hearing from her and of her new adventures. They are going the COTM but not in the PT.......this year! So I'll look forward to bumping into them if we can.
No doubt I left a Membership Form in the boot.

I'm glad they came through for ya. Sad to see it go. But atleast its gone to a good Chrysler Home.

the stealth is still in the family ..... looking forward to meeting Julie & Bill at COTM .... guess that means I can KINDA add them to the attendance list !!

Dot they wont be bringing the PT but have entered in another car with their club.

like I said KINDA add them to list .. we have RT ... phil ... Laurie and Terry (colin? and few others?) in the same Vehicle type dilemas .. do they bring the modern or the classic or the DODGE .... still means we can get to meet them too !! . .. Mopar madnes bring it on !!

One of the good things about it and you'd know this Dot. That its good to see more of the older Chrysker car owners DO actually like the PT and concider it as a 2nd choice and the voice of ridicule from the said owners gets a little quieter.
Not that the new owners of "Black Magic" have ever ridiculed the PT. What I saw at last years Wake Run they are "Chrysler enthusiasts".

yeap .. could not agree more .. almost an addiction and every one has their own fetish can't all be THE same .. makes life interesting ..

Julie is involved with the Wake Run and said she cant wait to have her PT there this year and is hoping more of us go.
She had it at a show on Sunday (the day after she picked it up)(she's keen) and got an immediate accepted response from those who went. It was parked next to their white LH Drive Plymouth.

Sorry to hear Black Magic has departed our immediate family - no more "Stealth Runs"??

Least its still in the family and will see Black Magic and White Cruisin' together on occasion...
