I wished my camera was working this morning (is now tho).

I woke to what i thought was Red Fog but soon realised once getting to my car it was dust. It was that thick I could not see past the end of our driveway.
I've travelled about 300ks today and it was an amaizing sight every where.
Port Kembla beach and the ocean was literly red.

Car finally cleaned

Not that I'm in NSW, but spent yesterday cleaning down the house, 3 outdoor areas, the underneath of the house, 3 cars, 1 trailer, 1 motorbike then started on the inside which was awesome considering we had 2 western facing windows open during the storm. So much fun!!!

And today Broken Hill is copping it again. Blimey I think we'll stay here. Missed nearly all the dust although that could change overnight, couldn't it?

I noticed that the local car wash is doing quite a good trade. Both times that i drove past the place was full with cars queing down the road.
The old saying " where's there's muck there's brass" good luck to them they would normally be suffering because of the drought:)
I had to keep Bluey under cover as i cut the lawn. I created my own dust storm:woohoo:

Ray , did you feel that you were part of the "War of the Worlds" and the martians were here ...?? the end was near... with that red mist all around ... scary when you woke up with a sore head.. not knowing your whereabouts..

The dust is here again tonight so it is coming your way again. It is raining mud.

Now if you were out driving in this dust storm , don`t forget to clean your air filter , as it will be choked with dust .

just finished cleaning outside of house and pool all cars clean ,have heard its comming again ,not happy:(

On that morning it sprinkled for a few moments and i was sitting on the side of the road in the work ute and it was just like mudd being thrown at the windscreen Sounded noisy and dried instatntly. Very odd.
PT Kiss we recieved a little dust over night but to be honest I think most of it wouldve been blown from the escarpment we look at with whats landed on the trees etc. I'd say we will get a bit of dust for a while.
What we need is some rain to wash it all down and away.

I got a text message from the local Chrysler agent (Tynnans) offering a inspection on the Pollen and Air filters for $55 the next day. Geez their not bad, one would've thought do a free inspection to get people in and then make money out of a sale!
