OK the wait is over
Mid Winter Cruise to Megalong Valley - What a great response and turnout from all involved. Thanks again for making it another memorable cruise (actually the last official run before the AGM/Membership year ends).
How many came?? 8 PT's started at Chullora. That is after David packed away the travelling merchandise superstore. Apparently if he doesn't have it then they haven't made one yet......But great to see all those who have bought their shirts atleast. Actually starting to look like we're all in the same club(almost

). Arriving at Macca's Eastern Creek to find a few more had turned out for the day. (Can't go anywhere lately without running into several.....Hundred Harley Owners) in amongst the thousand Bikes, were another 8 PT's.
Pete came along in his Prowler (does that get the looks) Oh and a Neon (Kim's(Keith's)), atleast it had a real roof

Plus a 300C - Hello to Greg and David. Sorry I didn't actually get too say hello (This time

) Also saying hello but not joining us was Tina & Steve.
So thats a massive 19 Modern Mopars moving up the mountians to Megalong Valley.
Picking up Phil, Annette and her Mum all the way from Dubbo. Great to see them again and great effort too. 20 cars now!
The group stayed together pretty well, with only 2 short stops before descending down into the valley. What a drive down, roads completely covered overhead by trees like a different part of the world, then arriving at the bottom opening to flatish plains surrounded by shear cliffs and dense forest.
First stop was the Tearooms for a pitstop and a restroom adventure. Thence onto the Heritage Centre.....mmmmmmm, fancy name for a run down farm, But anyway Fiona and Sophie did the tour and saw the farm animal (yep no plural there on purpose). But was a great setting for a Chat, photo's and triffle(thanks Tonya).
Once the tour was over the convoy headed back to the tearooms for a light lunch and a relaxing massage (Thanks Teena

) OK I had a sore neck and shoulders.... After lunch more chatting, photo's, sweets (Thanks Tonya and Gwen).
With some heading for home, a few made a couple of stops on the way. Pots, Uggs and Krispy Kremes. And what was purchased out of those three things??? Just Doughnuts thanks we own PT's....
It was another great day out. With great participation from all members. The weather could not of been better with sunshine nearly all day.
Sorry about not providing snow.
Thanks once again to all who came, good to see you all again and those that hadn't been on a run for a while, hope we get to meet again soon.
Also thanks to Fiona who helped with the locations and of course to David who once again was an invaluble help all day.
And we proved that there was something in Megalong Valley worth looking at!
20 Modern Mopars and all their passengers(including 1 very nice dog) - Getting together and having a great time.
