25 PT's turned out all sparkly and clean for the first run of PTCDU NSW
Destination was Patonga Beach 2 hrs north of Sydney
Mid Summer, Beach, BBQ, PT's and lots of eager PT'ers
it looked like another great day.
Also I would like too say I'm gratified that you guys all thank me for organising these runs. But its not just me, its everyone that comes on these runs that makes them a sucess. Your enthusiam and willingness to participate is what makes it memorable. I'm not going to thank the committee or any particular person. It is and has been for awhile now a group effort, each individual members contributes in some way. Be it help with locations, directions, extra food like sweets and cakes.
What starts out to be a picnic soon turns into a full on banquet of mian meals desserts and sweeets by the PT Load.
So thanks guys but you all help make it a great day aswell.
Now down to bussiness, we really have to do something about Fi................
Travelling up the F3 with 24 other PT's was pretty awsome even for the stragglers.
Member Sandy made a quick call and next thing you know Locals in the central coast area are told 25 PTs are making there way up the F3 To Patonga beach to give a wave and a toot if you see them, Well within no time of reaching the Turnoff for Gosford and Patonga Beach Then at the first set of lights Horns are blowing hands are waved PT's going every where as differing directions are heard over the 2 way Soon sorted and route agreed upon PT's in formation arrive at Patonga Beach and take what car spaces there are and some even improvise on a local cricket oval. WE'RE HERE
BBQ set up meat soon cooking, several try the local pubs and clubs for some fish and chips and some have baught picnic lunch's and of course piles of sweets, biscuits and cakes.
With a great turnout of new attendees (5 PT's) plus several members on there first run and a few of reasonably new members
There was alot to get too know, going on.
by 12:30 -1pm some mebers called it a day and headed of home while some thought it was a good time for a dip so 2 yougens go for a swim with several adult supervisors Joan who feels in need of cooling down sugests a swim. "No costume" is the general reply. Bah! says Joan and dives right in Club Uniform and all. Sorry did not get any pics but do believe there maybe one or two on someones phone
As usual the number of camera's is increasing on these runs and some look like they could be used by Paparazzi. So I feel assured that more pics from members will be posted.
I do have some for your viewing pleasure So enjoy and relive some of our great times we have and hope to see some of you in around 5 weeks time for our next monthly club run.
Thanks again guys
Col & Joan
