Out in the sticks sometimes we have to incorporate a run to another large place to get better bargains than what we can get here in Wagga. So off we went to Albury for a day's cruizin and shopping and looking.
This time of year being Sept you have to allow for the good and the bad with footy finals, work and prior commitments.
So with only 2 PT's we set off from Macca's in Wagga heading south to meet up with another from Vic. About 20 klms into the journey we thought were going the wrong way with 3 PT's heading towards Wagga, all waving there hands off there arms but no the less we push onward.
First was a black PT with the number plate of "Betty", unknown to us but the others, a plum and an electric blue we know who they are from further south than Wagga.
Now when you go shopping and at our age of course you need some pills to keep you going from day to day and down south they have a pharmacy warehouse, a hell of a lot cheaper than here.
Then it was onto the SPC warehouse in Lavington where fruit or almost anything you want is also a lot cheaper than the supermarkets.
Lunch at the Thurgoona golf club where we forgot to leave and only had time to visit the Kinross Woolshed before returning home. Kinross Woolshed is a pub and a rather popular enterainment place in Albury.
Our PT's made a bit more noise coming home with all the pills rattling away and the tins of fruit etc banging against each other.
Another wonderful day out with equally wonderful friends.
A few pics from today.
