You've been added and I also checked out that little place you mentioned to me yesterday, Lynn. And it does look very good and have marked it down for a visit aswell.
Thanks

There has been a slight change and the first main post has been changed(RED)
also the route will now incorporate the M5 not the M4 so the toll will be $3.80

End destination has been changed due too unforseen circumstances
But an alternative and just as good destination was on standby

Looks like a good turnout, 12 cars.
We will be going on the M5 a short distance so toll will be $3.80 for those without a tag
And there is a possibility we will be having dinner under the stars so some chairs or a rug would be advisable
There maybe seats and tables but to be on the safe side......
See you all soon

Yes it was a great arvo/night and dont we look flash in the outfits. Tis amaizing how fine that reflective stripe is but when the flash of a camera gets it it certainly brights up. We should be pretty safe out on the road at night!!
I caught up with everyone at the finish line over a meal and it was a good venue and amaizing to know that the lady that served us was the one from Stanwell Tops and she remembered us well.
Master Chef Chris (owners son) popped out side and had a look at the cars across the road in the dark. As per a normal ritual from this car enthusiests shop he presented a Muscle Pizza Trophy to the car that caught his attention and he said it was the lights. Well done Fiona, David & Sophie....cupboard must be getting full now!
No doubt everyone enjoyed the sunset on the way out there and how good was the moon on the way back. Sublime Point above Wollongong would've been a spectacular viewing spot!!!
Had a great night and cruise. Thanks Col & David.

Re:Saturday August 8th - Twilight Mystery Cruise 2 Years, 6 Months ago
well another truly memorable cruise over with.
No report just yet.

Mainly here now to thank everyone who came tonight
Not just for attending but for every thing that you guys did tonight
For those that don't know I had a slight mechanical mishap tonight
Of all places half way into the cruise.
I have had a faulty clutch now for awhile and tonight it finally stopped working,
in the middle of traffic, on one of the main highways out of Sydney, at around 5 pm
so there was a few other road users around. 3 lanes of trafic with the middle lane taken up by 12 PT's and the lead car not going anywhere.
Hopefully some one got some happy snaps????
And to all the well wishers driving past thanks for the encouragement
after parking the car off to the side of the road
The mystery cruise continued on and a good night was still had
I got the car towed from Hurstville/Carrs Park to Parramatta without any dramas
The car was actually booked in for Monday for a new clutch.
I did try to get it done before tonights cruise but work was too busy.

So once again a big thankyou to all for there help and genorosity
It was truly appreciated and I'm very greatful.
Also special mention too David, Fiona and of Course Sophie for there help in, firstly, letting us continue on in there car. Then to there help in driving us back too our car to wait for the tow truck then coming to Parramatta and driving us all the way back home. A big thank you. Hope you found a servo
See you all soon(13th Sept)
thankyou so much

Dear Col

Well David, Sophie and I really feel special because we went on the deluxe mystery cruise - as you have said we went to places we have never seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On the way to the servo we had a bit of excitement with the police closing the main road for what looked like a huge factory fire. No point asking me where it was beacuse our cruise was still in mystery mode. After going back on the M5 (maybe) we landed at the servo with time to spare - clever David!

No time to download the photos as I am at work now - but probably tomorrow.

Thanks for a great cruise despite not being allowed to use the radio and being relegated to the back seat.....

The pizza was great and the pizza lady thought it was funny that we all thought she looked familiar or was a twin or clone. She told me to let her know which place we are going to eat at next time and she will be there!

Great numbers of cars unless I'm seeing double? Shows that we are all really happy not knowing where we are going or how we are going to get there - It will make next years calendar at lot easier Col.

Cheers

The Warden

This was our first mystery cruise & we are really looking forward to the next one.

David, you were correct with your praise of the group...a special group of people prepared to support one another when things don't go according to plan.

Thanks Col & David for organising the run .
