I thought I would put this post up to explain what the PTDCU NSW Committee Positions are and their Responsibilities in light of the coming AGM.
CLUB OFFICE BEARERS -
President
Chair Club Committee Meetings and Annual General Meetings
Act as Representative to the Club
Oversees all Club activities
Vice President
Deputizes for the President – Stands in when the President is not available
Treasurer
Managers Club Finances
Holds Club Cheque Book
Pays Club Accounts
Maintains Club Financial Account Book
Produces Annual Tax Report
Secretary
Take & Records Minutes to all Club Meetings
Issues any Notices to Club Meetings
Answers to Incoming Correspondence to the Club if required
Keeps Club Records of Meetings up to date
These positions generally require a good ethical background with a business or responsible manner as these positions carry the responsibility of the Incorporation.
ORDINARY COMMITTEE MEMBERS -
Public Officer
Holds Current Club Membership List
Holds Club Common Seal
Acts as Liaison for the NSW Office of Fair Trading
Membership Officer
Holds and updates Membership Listing
Receives & Responds to New Member enquiry/applications
Receives & Receipts Club Members Renewals
Cruise Controller
Produces a Year Calendar of Runs and Events
Coordinates Club Runs and Events
Responds to any Incoming Correspondence that relates to Club Runs and Events
Assistant Cruise Controller
Assists in all capacities of the Cruise Controller
Merchandise Officer
Seeks Merchandise appropriate to the Club, for sale to assist in covering Club Expenses
Other Committee Members
To assist at Committee Meetings in decision makings and help if required as a Club Representative
All of the above positions require a regular attendance to Club Committee Meetings and preferably one (1) years prior Membership with the Club.
