A report will follow but I just wanted to keep posted for those who couldnt make it, last night was a great night. Weather was some what kind to us, tried to sprinkle now and then and a bit of a cool breeze but everyone was rather comfortable there. Phil & Tonya's place is a great venue for entertainment.
Food was great and certainly ample and many a laugh for sure.
Hope those that travelled home after the Party got home safely and not to tired. We left just after midnight got home and unpacked and in bed by 1.45am.
We are about to head up again to feed the left overs (those that Motel'd it) for breaky and then a final cruise for 2009 to 2 of the local Dams for lunch.

Thank you to all who attended it was a great night you all made it worthwhile.We had a fantastic time and we even made it to the run to the dams today as well.you are all a great bunch of people who all pitch in and helped out to ensure that the weekend all went well which is very much appreciated.Without you guys there woudnt have been a party. Murf & Di arrived home safe from the Dam cruise, Phil & Tonya's place a great venue and they were VG hosts as well, great company, the motel people all went home at a reasonable time but were awoke at 2.10am by a pair of late home comers ? and again at 5am by a crowing rooster Ray supplied bacon eggs & toast 4 brekkie and everyone tried to clean up the leftovers at the Dam lunch, Merry Christmas 2 all, regards Murf & Di

Our thanks to hard working committee for organising such a great Christmas Party and in particular Tonya and Phil for making their "ranch" available....what a fab home for entertaining.

We had a lot of laughs and it was good to meet up with the members we do not see too often.

Yes it was a great night, most enjoyable and very well attended considering how close it was to Christmas and distance to travel.






It was good to see many used the option of staying overnight in the local Motel on the train track
Thankyou for the thankyou's! on putting it together, To be quite honest my Gayle did most of the food shopping etc. I just told her what I wanted and got it all there. Certainly no probs with the food and its quantity.


Tonya & Phil did a great job preparing their place and a bit of shopping as well.
Phil & Steve was able to get the BBQ real hot......& I mean real hot.... anybody got an extinguisher...lol


It was great to see Annette & Phil all the way from Dubbo and the Chubby express from the central coast with Pauline, there and back on the same day, a big effort.


Thanks again Phil & Tonya for organising & presenting me with a lovely bottle of Port on behalf of the club. I appreciate the recognition.
In my long winded speech we unveiled the New Banner for the Club for 2010 in which the Joyce family had donated to the club. I also intoduced & thanked each of the Committee Members of 2009 also acknowledging those who have left their roles and presented those that attended a gift on behalf of the club, (the others will get theirs soon). I also presented Tonya & Phil a hamper as a thankyou for hosting the evening.
Sandy D was introduced and welcomed to the Committee as our new Secretary along with an applause from all. We wish Sandy well in her new role.

Well that Steve Drury bloke of SA may have the "Singing Ladies" but we do have the "Dancing Queens" even tho ours only appear in the dark.....like Owls


Most had retired by 11ish but Gayle and I stayed till after midnight giving us a 2am bed time only to return back the next morn with all the breaky. We really enjoyed the weekend.
Col & Joan did to, apparently deciding to walk stumble back to the Motel some time after 1am tho it was a 2k walk I think they chose the scenic option turning it into a 15k walk...one step forward 2 to the right, half forward, woops 2 & a bit back and so on ..... lol arrive at the motel at ...what time!!!
Anyway many a great story on a great weekend with great company.
