How good was the weekend, Saturday was a warm clear day.
Sunday went that one better Not only was it a clear sunny day....
the Chryslers were out and about.
Joining up with some of The CAVOA(Chrysler and Valiant Owners Association) Guys on there annual BBQ run to Berrima.
8 PTs turned out at Leo's this morning, already there and waiting were several Chargers and Valiants.
Around 15 cars set out from Leos just after 10 am collecting 2 PT's at Pheasants Nest(Ray & Gayle Plus Phil & Tonya).
Arriving in Berrima around 11am several cars had already arrived and were waiting.
Over the next couple of hours cars continued to roll in, even from as far away as Canberra(ACT Street Machine Club) who came up with several cars. There was a wide and varied selection of cars including Mustangs Firebirds Camaro's, a superb V8 EH Holden and even several early veteran(1940's) cars.
Once again PT owners dominated the scenery, with as much interest as anyone there. Meat was cooked on 2 BBQ's including my one which hopefully will get good use over the coming summer.
As usual there was a plentiful supply of food, aswell as desserts and cakes.
Most stayed on till mid-afternoon, with some taking in the local markets, galleries and craft stores
Others got to see some Holiday snaps from Route 66's trip overseas.
Several best wish's were given too those with birthdays close to the day, aswell as well wish's to Phil and Tonya on there 25th wedding aniversary
Also handed out was the first edition of the new club newsletter
which I eagerly await the feedback and sudgestions on future content(and any help)
from anywhere in NSW As thats who it is for.
OK now for the proof of another great day.
