G'day Peter and welcome to a new experience.

Cruising is fantastic! On my second PT and still have the same feeling when I drive her as I did when I drove my first PT out of the showroom back in November 2000!

Enjoy mate.

PS Great colour too!

Welcome Peter. I joined this forum back in April and didnt know anything about PTs. Since then the people on this forum have become almost like family. They are so full of advice and information its great. Not only am I addicted to my PT, but I cant walk past my study without popping online to check the forum. Welcome to a whole new world and ENJOY! I have also met many of the people face-to-face and its been a great experience.

G'day Peter, from down south.

Love the car, couldnt have picked a nicer colour.
"mine the day I got her home"

oops but all of the colours are nice, arn't they.
I too am a Noob, well sorta.
I will admit that I have not come across a better bunch of people, than you will find on this site or in 3d.
Earlier this year I had the opportunity to cross the dirty ditch,
& meet 35 or so members, and their owners..
Had a ball, & wow what a cruise.

And the same again in 2010 Andrew. COTM is certainly a good place to meet PT owners from around this great country.

Congratulations, now you drive one of the most retro modern vehicles available, while other manufactures are stopping production, a 10 year old design get the nod for a further couple of years, this is the future classic collectors car.

Hi everyone. Thanks for your warm welcoms. The Cruiser is still going well. Starting bling it up a little.....not too much though. Hope to call into Mopar Motors in Thomastown next week to see what they have in stock. I do have a question....Is there something that can be placed behind a licence plate so it does'nt have to bend around the front bumper? The licence plate looks a little cheap without a decent number plate frame around it. Looking for a chrome frame. Should set off the plate nicely....proberly not.....LOL.....Peter

Peter I actually dropped mine below the bumper. Something different, no frame.

A little different and is held there with aluminium angle brackets and very secure.

Does not affect the air flow into the radiator at all and have never had a problem.

Re:Bye Bye Commodore...Hello Cruiser 2 Years, 4 Months ago
Thanks for that idea Chief. I'll look into it. I do have a standard ACT plate, so it might be too big and disrupt the airflow. I understand from another forum post that there is, or was a bracket supplied with new Cruisers supplied to the US or Europe. It was too big so it looked wrong.

Peter maybe we could have a meetup somewhere between Wagga and Canberra in the near future and have a bo peep at each others PT's.
