TOPIC: on this day in brisbane

on this day in brisbane 2 Years, 1 Month ago
"Blue moon, you left me standing alone, without a dream in my heart".......
Ahem..
It is such a double edged sword driving a white brick all day.
1: i get to see so many wonderfull PTs
2: the people dont know who that silly driver is that keeps waving, or is he just cleaning his mirror?

Monday as i entered the Logan Motorway at loganlea a dark blue PT with belt line bling ended up being stuck behind me for what seemed an age as other traffic decided to slowly make their way past me, its not often i come accross a PT traveling in same direction.
short of hanging out window with both arms flapping stearing with knee, I decided to give an aknolowging nod in mirror and a point and wave. No response,
bouncing off rev limiter i watched as this shiny blue gem dissapeared slowly into the distance.
comming back from Gatton at loganlea Rd exit (Logan mwy) i saw yet another dark blue PT heading west, OMG are they breeding? quick wave (no response)

ok is it me or is it the bouncing of the truck or poor eyesight.
as i drive as part of my observational awareness i look at the incomming traffic.
There seems to be a number of vehicles that carry a similar profile (from a distance) high rounded roof line, lights in lower corners moulding the guards, chrome or not horizontal slatted grill. only to find out its a MPV of a different make.
anyway.. back to my driving, CD player is broken, have to polish up on my Karaoke.
"LOLA..... L O L A ... LOLA!"

LUV your sense of humour !! I know how U feal .. NEARLY .. I drove a FRENCH silver BOX (BASIC SOUND SYSTEM and a manual & still better than walking!!) for nearly three weeks over the break & even though I didn't see many PTs ( (total count 4 ) .. I did see some 300C etc and waved at every one ( couldn't flash AS I could NOT find the switch ) .. needless to say NO response ..then YESTERDAY first day with dirty plums & roses I managed THIS ... no waves or recognition as it was dirtier than my girl ...

Stountnbitter SORRY .. NOT in Bris but I had to find SOMEWHERE kinda on topic to post pics !!

I thought the waving arms would be ID enough .. the NSW PT club had CHOOK when they came down here for the great southern crusie ! .. OR maybe a MODEL PT on the bonnet or GRILL or a pic of THE (white) RIG .. NOW we are on the track ... WE LUV pics !!

See I think I started a whole thread about the "no-one waves anymore" a little while ago.

Ah for the old days when fellow PT'ers were excited just to see each other...
