The instruments & dash lights are all up & running now.

Invoice reads:

"To check fuses,remove top of dash & surrounds to gain access to instruments.

Remove instrument cluster & check power / earth supplies OK.

Leave cluster unplugged for 10 hours,reconnect & system work powered up
properly.

Reassemble & road test OK "


The cause could not be identified and the NRMA after a short discussion agreed to met the total costs of $264-00.

This was explained as a reward for my 40 years plus of loyality to the NRMA Road Service

A very happy ending & as they say " IT PAYS TO BELONG "
