Is it me or is this site very very slow to load each page since it has come back online. I have the fastest Broadband Telstra offers at 20000/1000 and since the site went down a few days ago and is now back it is very very slow. I am not having a problem with other sites just this one. Any ideas.

have noticed this too...makes using site very frustrating...blasted hackers..

yes it somewhat slower since it has been back
and yes it is because of the hackers
The main priority was to get it back online
It does take some time to go through the whole program to make sure all traces have been removed
So it maybe slow for sometime as it can be time consuming
plus to make sure there are no hidden triggers which shut it down again

The guys have done a great job to get it back functioning as quick as they did
And I'm sure it won't be that long and it will be back to normal

Oddly it's running like normal for me at home but I'm on Dial up.
We also have mobile Broadband and its slow on it as well as our super fast one at work.
I have been keeping contact with Shane but he hasnt elaborated alot on it but I'm wondering if the forum is running off something else temporarily until the other is fixed!!!
Either way I'm sure their doing their best and atleast we're together again.

Very slow here and I'm running on 1500. I thought that may have been the case.
Just glad we have it so will put up with the frustration till running normal again.

well I thought it was ME as I'm on other machines .. home is still not on .. & I'm just happy site is BACK & to be back even if it is just in small spirts .. !!

arrrrrgh!!!!! every time I go to write a report for the Barefoot bowling it keeps logging me out
5 times now this week lol
I will have to write it in word and cut an paste it

I have been doing most things in Word and then cut and paste especially if I have anything that I think that is going to take a while.

Yeah I know I have been advised before to do it that way
Just have to make a habit of it
But its worse recently seems to log you of very quickly lately
Wether its a security measure or not who knows
Just have to do it that way from now on
But I tend to write whats on my mind then post before I edit it too much

Have contacted Shane today about the speed of the forum. He felt it was operating ok on his system but was going to arrange for someone to have a look at the system to make sure there arent any issues that may be causing this.
Either he or I will let you all know what the outcome is.

Granted, I'm on the other side of the world, but I've been here a long time and it is slower than normal.

As mentioned before it is still painfully slow and I use the fastest broadband Telstra provide. It is so slow that I tend not to view it much lately. I understand people are in the background trying to solve the problem and this is much appreciated but just thought I would mention it again.
