Why is it every Australia Day when I wake up I say "geez I wish we had a run today"!
Never mind. Hope everyone has a great day and tell us what you did to celebrate.

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY to everyone.

Nice puppies !! I had to work too, all day out at Olympic Park, in someone else's office, opened what we thought was the department beer fridge at the end of the day, to be bowled over by the stench of rotten food. LOL, how embarrassment for them !!

I hope most of you got the chance to have some fun though.
HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY

We did a bit of a round trip too see where everyone goes
First stop was Georges Hall(Bankstown Airport) about 3 30 pm
Even on a normal weekend this place is pretty crowded
But seemed to be not as crowded from the road as we drove passed
Next stop Prramatta Park Now here was a good size crowd
All park entrances were blocked to traffic so couldn't get too close
Driving past the pool which was very crowded.
Onto Parramatta lake Now this looks like a nice quiet spot
Carpark maybe a third full at 4 pm.
From there did a quick stop at Macca's for 2 large vanilla shakes
Then onto Newington Armoury Which was pretty much deserted
from there to Olympic precint Around Acer arena was a few people about but no large numbers
Drove around Bicentenial park which it turns out every one from Sydney had decided to go.
Very heavy traffic around the entrances here
Did a stop off at the brick pit for a quick look
Then onto Kakoda track in Ryde for a look around
on the way back we drove passed Georges Hall
wow what a differencs 2 hours makes the place is packed and people and cars everywhere.
then back home for some Chineese takeaway and maybe a movie(DVD)
Happy Aussie day to you all aswell

I had to work too !
Our sister company Zip Heaters is the principle sponsor for Symphony Aust and we staged the Australia Day Concert in the Park , in the Domayne .
I was on duty from 1.00pm until 8.00pm , mostly handing out over 3000 Zip Water bottles to the public and inviting them to fill them with chilled water .We had seven Hydrotaps supplying chilled water .The Govenor attended , as did Alan Jones , however neither arrived in a PT !
The upside was that prior to the concert , I had time to look at the NRMA Motorfest.
Great display of so many cars from years gone by , but again no PT's .
Maybe one day when our gems are over 30 .
Regards
Dennis

Hi all.
Well we didnt get to do a lot on the day apart from having a nice BBQ at home, Homemade pavalova and a Lamington later on.
It was very hot so a bit of gardening and the girls were in & out of the pool a few times. Overall we had a great weekend tho.

I was able to create the Red White & Blue theme with some of the family cars tho
