I HEARD RUMOUR MID SEPT ... NO LONGER A RUMOUR ??? !! is it like Mr Ford said U can have any colour U like as LONG as its Black .. picture is white but words read Black ... 6 stacker fancy stereo and sunroof .. extra chrome and rims !! LOVERLY BUT ... NO leather seats with heaters (I need them here in MELB) ... Bril black with DEEP larva red flames would look awesome what am I saying!!! ????? plums & Roses is still a work in progress !!! snap out of it DOT !!>>>..

As far as i know and what I have heard they will be two tone Black and white if you look closley at the one in the photo you can see the black roof

This would be a good car for Ray (black and white) together, PT heaven.You have such a hard job Col.

Went to a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep car yard today and was looking around at the PT Cruiser they had on display in there showroom

Anyway I asked about this and they guy gave me a run down on it something like $31 something grand

and its all in Black apparently only 15 left

apparently around a week and a half ago there was only 24 PTs in all of Aust. for sale in dealers yards(thats new ones)

mmm they must be selling like hot cakes if there is only 15 left according to that salesman i spoke to today

Hi All,
I am new to the forums and a new Chrysler PT Cruiser Owner as of last week. I don't have the vehicle yet, as it is one of the cars you are mentioning here - The Special Edition. The overall pricing is about 7 grand less, but packed with addtional features, so it really is a bargain. Plus we get to have one in a manual, I don't think they are going to produce any more manual's for the Aussie market in the future and personally I hate driving an auto. The image I have attached here is the US model, but the Australian model is somewhat different in a couple of aspects. Apparently the colour is only all black, which is fine, but I would prefer the two tone. I live in Brisbane, so I can't wait to take the car for a cruise.



If it did look like this I would be stoked, but apparently only all black, but definitely a manual transmission. Should help with the apparent bad fuel consumption.

Thanks, I will post a bunch of photographs once I get delivery, apparently they are in the country and sitting in customs. The dealership here still have some stock waiting to be sold, but I doubt they will last long. I think they only have about a dozen left and apparently there were only 36 brought into the country in total. I know for a fact that the wheels and front grill in the pic I posted previously are the same on this model and I also have a photo I found online of the interior with ribbed seating, I think it has some velour in it. I know leather would be better, but they might have to rip out the heating elements to accommodate. I did ask if this was an option as I was going to order it if it was. Not from the factory, but we can arrange it they said, third party. Not sure about the rear spoiler, only hoping it does come with this. I also ordered the iPod connector (iphone user) and I am getting the bluetooth connectivity as well. All up the total cost is $31490 drive away. The previous model I was considering didn't have half the features (no sunroof) and was all up $38200 drive away - auto only option. If you can afford it, grab one of these and sell your old cruiser, well worth it I say.

heated seats ??? ... OM word ... I am in TROUBLE now .. that was the main reason I was sticking with my Plum .... where is that winning LOTTO ticket !! a great dream PT for sure .. yeap I heard spoiler is ON on teh great list of options .... ALl black !!

Pretty sure the salesman told me there was no spoiler but could be wrong we didn't get in to it much as we were only looking around
