Tyres Safety?
Don't know if this would also apply to tyres in Australia or not:
Might be worth watching.

It sure does apply to tyres sold in Australia.

It is recommended you replace your tyres every 3 years whether the tread is worn or not. I think that's a bit extreme but my sister does not do a lot of driving and had a car where the tyres delaminated. One ended up with a big bubble and another one started squeaking when she drove because the steel belts were separating from the rubber. The tread was still at about 75% but the rubber was so hard they had so little grip it was hard to drive without spinning the wheels at take of in the dry and lethal in the wet. These were top quality Bridgestones

The Tyres on my Regal are at least 4 years old (on it when I got it) and although they have plenty of tread I will be looking at a new set of tyres soon for the reasons shown in the clip. I know they are not as good as they should be.

Thanks Robert !
Was not sure if I should post the clip or not - bit out of my realm - glad you cleared that up for me.
Might be hard to check if it is on the reverse side!
Guess if you didn't want to crawl underneath maybe have a mechanic check the date on the next oil change or tyre rotation?

Typical. A law was passed to protect consumers, so the industry found a way to make a code and put it on the inside so it's difficult to find and decipher.
