You can get Koni strut inserts at a company in Vermont Melbourne called Toperformance Products, they import them
www.toperformance.com.au/index2.html
I have just bought some for mine, I havn't fitted them yet, but you need to cut the original struts and fit the new inserts into the original strut tubes.
I'am changing mine because I have a suspension business and I think they are the best you can buy, and if Iam going to recommend them I should use them.
I have found that Koni shockers seem to just go on for ever
(well at least a long time) and not wear out, I have customers who have had them in for over 300.00 kms in EA Fords and Commodors with no noticeable fade, which is good for these cars.

Not cheap but because of thier long life it is only a once off expence and a good investment in handling.
