Do you mean the bump stop or other part of the suspension.

dampers are also called shocks, but some people relate that to springs. So yeah the hydraulic shock.

Penrith suspension wholesales & order in a set of Koni's Sports adjustable. I have a set on the back of the old one I transfered to the new one. If you lower your car leave the bump stop in place as if you remove or cut down the bump stops you can damage the adjustable system in side the shock.

Cost approx $700-$850 for the full set & of course plus fitting & alignment.

Certainly won't be lowering it or cutting bumps stops. I two too much for that sort of thing. I am just finding more and more how average the std suspension really is. The reaction time of the suspesion is slow and makes the car behave more like a boat than a car. I am fitting heavy duty springs in the rear which are being custom made by all springs in moorebank. They will make whatever you want for whatever purpose. The dampers are what i belive are letting the front of the car down, so new dampers all round along with the springs in the rear should set my car up for what i need. Koni's are good, but i was hoping for something not qute as much as they are, and not a cheap as pedders.... Anyone else replaced there shock's/dampers. People must have replaced them at some point as they only normally have a std lifespan of about 80ooo Kms. so anyone?
My PT is only at 67ooo and it is noticable how much wear has come into the suspension.

Cheers

I had Keiths adjustable Koni's in my car for a while and can vouch for a much better sportier ride, but being set on the hardest setting it was a bit bumpy over rough patches, but you could really notiuce it when you powered into and out of corners. If had to replace mine I'd go withteh Koni's or something similar.
