Start with one neatly installed stereo



Move Annes car out of shed for 2 nights.



Pull dash apart. This was a little scary. Hope it doesn't break.




Laid it all out on a bench. There is a lot to figure out.



Connect up the wiring to new harness I got on eBay.







Try to squeeze it all back together again.



Turn it on.... Phew. No smoke..... Now all I have to do is figure out how to use it.



It has been a few days now and I know most of the functions now. We played Meatloaf live in concert tonight. It was great.

WOW Looking great One question though, how u finding not being able to get to window controls with screen out?

what a great job ... installing the radio & the pics & post ... doubt it would worry me not getting to windows as I hardly use them ... I would how ever miss the sun roof

It’s been a while since the install,

I thought I’d post the pics that I took along the way.

Have already fitted the DVD,CD, Mp3 Head unit.


So first up it’s out with the airbag cover, & off with the glove box door.



Next I cut a big hole & rewelded in some supports, “Thanx for the spare Sam” Next came the spray job. “nice colour”, (not black)… I painted the No plate bracket too.



Fitted the new 10.2in TFT & added some chrome trim, “bling”.



Then comes the refit & the wiring nightmare.



“thank god” it works & no smoke.



All finished, added a bit more chrome trim “Thanx again Sam”.

hey that is interesting ..... I had not idea there were sooo many wires in out PTs as well ... is your air bag still active ? .... or have U disconnected it some how

Yes Dot the Air bag is still inside.
My greatest fear is that, I'd had better of secured the screen veryvery well,
Or someone could have a close up of what they are watchin, if the airbag gose 0ff. Screem maybe ..LOL..
