TOPIC: Soft Top

Soft Top 2 Years, 7 Months ago
Hi everyone,

I'm only new to this forum as I have just bought a 2006 cruiser convertible here on the Gold Coast. My question is regarding washing the soft top. I use Armorall Wash and Wax for the duco and Armorall have advised me that its OK to use and won't damage the soft-top. I'm wondering if any soft-toppers out there can advise me as to how they keep the top clean. The vehicle is a real headturner, but its a bit daunting getting used to all the stares haha.

Thanks to all. This site is a real beauty!!!!

We used to use a really soft scrubbing type brush (and I mean really soft!) on the top when it was exceptionally grubby.

Welcome fellow Cabro owner.

It does take a bit to get used to the stares at the PT Cabrios. Dean took a lot longer to get used to it than I did. He got used to it eventually because he then decided to trade our 4WD for a cute little MG convertible. It's not as good as the PT though, so doesnt attract as much attention. :laugh
