I am now convinced im not ment to have a nice car. Yesturday went on nice drive to phillip island with friends. Went to the nobbies look out and parkd away from cars as i do.
When we had finished i notice an old ford lancer parked next to me. Im like why did u have to park next to me as there are a million other spots to park. (HMMM do some peoples cars get lonly when they are around and need to sit next to other for a comfort chat)

Anyway it was time for us to go and we walked over to the pt. The shit box next to me had gone but had well n truly left his mark. A nice dint and chip off my paint work on the left front door wiabit of his blue color on the pt where the mark was.

There are some c......s that shold just be shot in this world. No RESPECT for others hard earned work or money.

Oh, that is awful.

Did you have a camera with you to take photos of the 'evidence'. I did that once when travelling overseas. The other person tried to claim it was my fault. I got out my (now vintage) SLR camera and took close up photos of the damage. It all looked so professional they quickly changed their tune.

The more modern everyday digital cameras do a good job, or, if at a pinch, try the mobile phone camera. Anything is better than nothing. And don't forget a shot of their rego.

Know exactly what you mean mate - so many people don't care and have no respect for other people's property... Few weeks ago I copped a beauty on my drivers door! I was so angry! Looks like they pushed their door against mine for a while and as they got in too cuz it's a nice jagged gouge scratched off the paint

Subject: Another Inferno in Wagga ??????

..........Wagga is a awfull place for my pt. Cracked windscreen last night on the way up. Called shannons today and they said yep organise a new one this week. And managed to scratch the underside of the mud flaps coming out of a low car park to. Will need just a light touch up..............

Not at all good ccpt ! Sure sounds like your having a run of bad luck - have always believed bad luck runs in three's so hopefully you'll have only good luck for a while now. Agree some people it seems have no respect these days, guess its just a sign of the times ? Or maybe just small minded, envious people with nothing better to do with their time ? Hopefully we will catch up sometime when your in Wagga. All the best -

Yeah this mark is straight down to the metal so hit has been hit pretty hard. I think its more a case of people being jelous. Others cant stand it in this world when they dont have something nice. and the hold ity against other people.

I think i should just sell the pt and buy a shit box then i wouldnt care. Pfft what are ya to do hey.

Short of getting a 24/7 security guard, there's not a lot we can do other than our best to keep our cars looking good.

Got a good one also on the passenger door. An oldie parked so close I still don't know how they even got out of the car. Like you Craig it was gone by the time I got back to my PT but should have turned around and went back as soon as I saw it park there but as usual always in a hurry to do what I had to do instead of worrying about my car at the time.
I'm sure all they did was check there mailbox at the post office and run.

I'm not even gunna list my Run ins with other cars.

But the last incident with my back window I now park on work property But even that doesn't seem to make a differance the first day as a customer decides to park next to me(I'm still in the car too) when bang goes their door into my car. Driver walks away without a 2nd glance. Hmmm "OI are you right there buddy" "Oh sorry I didn't see you there, not much room is there" I checked for damage, There was none. But he just walks off like no bother. Hehehehe lesson number 1. don't walk away even if theres no damage, Lesson number 2. make sure you check that the other person has no acsess to your car hehehehehe. I just wait 15 mins go inside. Ask the service advisor for this customers key as its blocking the entrance Heheheheh. The look on this guys face as I walk out with his keys is PRICELESS. I know I don't even have to do a thing and this guys already in a panic! all I can hear is him stammerin as I walk out the door towards his car. Firstly I move mine away from his. Hop in his and tear off into the workshop. I park his car out the back "Carefully" and take the key back inside with the biggest s#!t eating grin and hand the keys back to the SA. As I walk away I say to him "plenty of room now"

I just know when he came to collect his car he would of went over it with a fine tooth comb or just got in and drove off feeling very very lucky this time.

Thers no answer to this common deliema I'm sure theres a million stories the same. When you have something you treasure and covert theres always someone else who don't give a s#!t.

So many times driving around Sydney I wish I was in the biggest piece of crap car with a nice big bull bar.

My daughter and her husband (each with an '03 PT) had been having their tyres messed with. They come out and see a flat, but filling with air, no leak. Now one of my daughter's tyres was slashed - not deep enough to cause damage...
