Long loads in the back... 7 Years, 4 Months ago
Hey guys, here's some unusual advice...

I was reminded of this little trick as Craig referred to the "PT Removalists".

I once carried a really long desk in my PT that required the rear hatch to be open... but when its half way up, the struts push the door all the way up so it opens fully - not good while driving under low-ish objects (eg. garage, parking station etc).

I found that it was really easy to just unscrew one end of one of the struts - that was enough to make sure the door stayed down (since one strut on its own isn't enough to hold it up), resting on the desk sticking out the back.

Not totally recommended, but got me out of a tight situation once before!

good advice glitter.

Remember, the rear hatch opens highre thanthe roof. Dirty Dave will stand by that after shattering a rear hatch.
