TOPIC: twin exhaust

twin exhaust 2 Years, 10 Months ago
recently I had a mopar performance exhaust installed on Plums & Roses ... as well as rear end lowered around 1.25 inches .. QUICK pics were taken while she was on the hoist .... she wasn't clean underneath sorry .. but for those interested, thought I,d better share .. don't often see our PTs from underneath !

off with the OLD

on with the new!!

It has been suggested that the Horizontal tube should be painted black ... ON the list !!

Yeah black would hide the pipe and the twinnies would stand out more.
We have to catch up soon Dot and do what we have to do.

I'm happy with her LITTLE burble Maggie has the same system I think !! and YES just the rear lowered as we have some terrible drive ways that were also ALREADY causing concern at STD height .. Phantom not happy with new ride (springs) .. but I can't say I feal the difference when cruisin I am in my OWN space any ways !! and there is LESS body roll !!

Thank you PT Silver. We're likin' the Dodge experience, but still missing Stormy.

Topic.......Hey Dot, be careful with your new tips on those driveways now she lower in the behind.

Sorry, I know off topic but how does your turbo diesel Dodge perform compared to Storm Cruiser?

Re: twin exhaust 2 Years, 10 Months ago
Well both are 2.0lt but that's the only similarity. Except for take off from 1st to 2nd which we are going to improve with new exhaust and CAI systems the Dodge flies. The diesels are 6 speed manuals. I'll find out the specs if you want, but heaps more torque and all that kinda stuff. Sorry typical woman, I just drive it and all the technical stuff I leave to Kevin. I can get him to fill you in. Fuel consumption, we can get up to 1000klms on a 62 ltr tank. Around town we usually get around 700 sometimes better, depends on how heavy my right foot has been. Lovin' that turbo. Storm Cruiser stats are much lower.
Changing exhaust and CAI on the PT's certainly makes a difference to them.

Cheers Kym

PS. We'll definately take you up on that ride in your turbo PT.
