Just an update.........
It will probably stay that way for a while too.........
But it does make a difference when reversing

Only good for the series 1 cruisers, I think the series 2 babies have a different shape. And yes, they are awesome! Ive got 36LED 3157 bulbs in mine and they throw out a heap of light. I can now actually see when Im reversing at night.

Of course Ive deleted my rear fog so I could wire both sides together as dual backup lights, but I never used the fog anyway.

Edit- the link above is just to show you what the lights look like. I did not purchase through that company. I was lucky enough to secure a deal through a private sale locally.

Yeah these ones are a common replacement
and it seems a common mod is too add the second reverse light with most owners
