Oil Low Pressure Light 1 Year, 9 Months ago
Anyone ever had the oil low pressure light come on. I stopped to go into a shop yesterday for 1 minute and when I came out and restarted the car the oil pressure light came on a few feet down the road. I immediately stopped the car check the oil, which was all ok, restarted and the light didn’t come back on again. I have only done 12k since to get home but wondered if anyone else has had this problem for no apparent reason.

Gee Bob you seem to be have some little glitches happening up that way.
First your air con problems and now this one popping up.
Haven't heard of or seen this one before so can't say much about it.
Never seen it on our 2 PT's, yet.

Possible crook oil pressure sender, maybe.

Ring Loxy or Sam, they maybe able to point you in the right direction and what to look for or at.

Hi Graham, yep I seem to be getting problems at the moment. A couple of people on the Qld forum have said it could be the sender as well. I topped up the oil yesterday and did about 100k and has not happened since but the oil wasn’t that low so will see how it goes and if it comes back will get a sender.

Bob it might just need a good long run down south. Jump in and start heading this way and we'll throw up the stop flag when you get this far.
That'll fix it.

Mate just think of the fun we could have, worn out tyres or not. It's only money and we can't tske it with us and the kids will only fight over it after we are gone.
