Decent Mechanic 1 Year, 6 Months ago
G'day
Apologies if this thread has been listed before.

I am after a recomendation for a mechanic in Sydney or western sydney(prefer as i am in Penrith) who are good with PT's.

I have been taking my PT to a dealer since new but seeing it is well out of warranty, I have decided to give them the boot.

Thanks

Hi Andrew.
There's nobody I trust with my lawn mower or my wife,
but I do trust this guy with my PT.
Tried Chrysler and NRMA, this guy gets all my work now.

Thanks Chris

I am taking to the dealer one last time because thay said in the last service they replaced the brake fluid. Which I'm 99% sure they didnt. So when I rock up they will be doing it this time at no cost.

So after this service I will be looking around.

Any other recomendations? ( I like to have a bit of choice)

I ditched Chrysler ages ago... (warranty expired ages ago too haha)... Since then I've been pretty much using NRMA MotorServe at Seven Hills 1300 880 294 and haven't had any problems with them, you can see what they're doing in the workshop through a window from the waiting area, plus, they check the car over and come to you with the report before starting the work for your information and approval of any further things they recommend... They even came to me with 2 items that didn't need doing and removed them from the bill!! (ie air filter replacement as I have K&N)

I just had my rego inspection (first time as it's now 6yrs old - forgot what I need to do for one haha) at a place in Holbeche Rd Arndell Park - the workshop was very clean and tidy and he said they are authorised by Chrysler to service all Chrysler vehicles... I'm due for a service, so I might give him a try...

It's always hard to find a decent mechanic, and after a few stories - both from a trusted source, and MYSELF - I don't trust dealerships at all!

Cheers
Dean
