There have been quite a few sensors replaced on US PT Forums.
1) It might also be the wiring - some have found a spot that rubs insulation off.
2) If you are at high miles, it could be an indication that your timing belt is getting worn - it should be replaced at 100,000 miles.

Re timing belt replacement we have had this discussion before. I recommend you go by the service manual. For my 03 it was 192000 km (which is about 120000 miles)but I am sure for my 05 it is shorter (about 132000 km) but can not check as the car is at Mopar Motors. However many workshops go by "old" experience and suggest at 100000 km. Way too early as it would seem they do not keep up with improvements in belt technology.

Hi,

Once again, these parts are available from www.bleam.com.au, I try to save the problem of ordering parts from overseas by having them in stock.

Regards

Well, it seems I have to change the cam sensor in the end, the petrol thing was working beautifully, for a long while anyway, then "it" happened again, a power loss, so switched the motor off and away we went. That's the problem with intermittant faults.
