Ok, be honest... how many of you are freaking out wondering what happened to your website?

I thought you may have been up to something but you've outdone yourself!

Only question would be is there going to be a "new posts" tab like the old site?

Well that's hardly a stretch of the imagination... I'm ALWAYS up to something.

It'll take a bit of adjustment, but everything's there. Look for "Recent Discussions" in this case.

Hi Guys, just sent an email to you about the new site - do you still have the facilities for “all new posts since last visit” as this was very very useful and if honest I used the national site instead of the QLD one because of this facility. I know you can look at recent discussions but that can repeat and doesn’t really show just the new ones since my last visit. Also sorry to be a pain but is there a spell check ?

Looking good! Took me a minute to realise what was going on since it didn't take me to the thread from the email I clicked on haha then realised it didn't log me on as usual... what's my password again? *grumble* lol

Bay Cruiser - the "recent" page shows you the time since that post was made - nice and easy to see how long ago the thread was posted...

--- I'm also guessing that the first time we log onto this new site that "all" the post become 'new' anyway... they're all showing as new on the forum homepage

Shane/webmaster - did you notice some weird text coming up ?? Is there an issue with the font display?
Note: Ray's "Welcome to New Members NSW"
eg: Dennis & Jan - Yellow 06' Route 66 - "dennisk"
(Somehow in the 'preview' of this line it appears to be ok - however it does not display correctly on Ray's original forum post here...)

I'm sure it will take a bit for everyone to get used to - change is good!! Keeps us on our toes...

Oh - and what's with this "Karma" thing? Not sure I like that...

Keep up the good work!
Safe and Happy Cruising
Dean

P.S. Where did my profile pic go?

You're right, it doesn't show just the new ones, but any thread with a new post is marked in bright green with "New!".

So don't sweat, you can't miss anything.

Also sorry to be a pain but is there a spell check ?

No sorry.

But there is dictionary.com.

Yeah. It's called the Internet.

Note: Ray's "Welcome to New Members NSW"
eg: Dennis & Jan - Yellow 06' Route 66 - "dennisk"
(Somehow in the 'preview' of this line it appears to be ok - however it does not display correctly on Ray's original forum post here...)

But seriously, yes some punctuation and special characters may look different in some places.

Oh - and what's with this "Karma" thing? Not sure I like that...

Now you get to "vote" on your fellow forum members. Sounds dangerous, doesn't it?

P.S. Where did my profile pic go?

Sorry, avatars didn't come across with everything else.

But look for "My Profile" above to edit that stuff.

Anyone have any ideas on what size (in pixels or any measurement) an avatar should be so it's not squishy like a camper-van?

It’s a square picture so my suggestion is to make a plain white square and put you normal size photo in the middle. I have used 800 x 800 pixels and put an 800 x 571 photo in the middle and all looks ok. Bob
