I thought I would start this topic as it has been suggested on other topics, for PTer's who go on trips/holidays and would like to catch up with other PTer's from different areas or states.

We are cruising to Vic/NSW in Aug 08 will be visiting Swanhill,Echuca,Yarrawonga/Mulwala, Albury,Wagga,Benalla and Sheparton approx dates 1Aug-7Aug. Will be glad to catch up with anyone in that area time permitting.

When you are in Wagga Wagga stop in for a meal and a bed. Give us about a weeks notice when you are coming. Will get a few other members over for a BBQ or what ever.

Lonedog don't worry about the chair it happens anywhere and everywhere !!!! With a day trip to Wagga means one less trip to the Wangaratta Woolen Mill.

Glad to see this topic brought back up. It reminded me to post to it.
Sorry we are not able to meet up with you Dennis as your itinerary is a little far North for us.
Doc and I are heading further south in 2 weeks. We will board the boat on Sunday evening August 17th and arrive in Tassie the morning of August 18th. We will be travelling all over for 10 days. We plan to be in Hobart for August 22-23 so we can catch the market. The rest is undecided as yet.
If anyone is able to meet up that would be great.
We will have the UHF radio on channel 18. If anyone spots us please say hi.

Well, the two finally arrived this morning in Wagga Wagga - what a great couple and what a great Palot. Dennis & Patricia have really done some great modifications to their PT - 3D is better!! A lot of you will get to meet these two when the PTs from SA meet up with the Great Ocean Road mob.
We had a very enjoyable visit with Dennis & Patricia and found out Dennis collects PT die-cast models (all sizes) and Patricia, Barbie Dolls - they are also E-Bay and Grays Online enthusiasts - great fun!! Gave them Cossor's Die-Cast model address in Yerong Creek, a stop on their way back to Malwala.
We look forward to catching up with them in October at the SA Club Show Day in October.
Patricia doesn't like her photo taken - this is obvious - and didn't get one with the knitting needles either. However............
Patricia wouldn't stop laughing!!!!!
And I don't know why the left leg was moving so much - maybe because they were freezing!!!
Thanks for driving all the way over to Wagga Wagga on your holidays and was great meeting you both. |

We arrived home safely yesterday after our quick trip to Vic & NSW. We spent 2 days at Winton watching the V8's totally P****ff with the new colour scheme of the 300c pacecars !! Yes we did visit the Woollen Mill at Wangaratta. We did get up to Wagga and caught up with Lonedog and Medicene Woman, Patricia and I enjoyed their company and lunch. We did drop into Yerong Creek on the way back and yes we do own some more models now and I loved Stephens method of presentation and displaying of his model collection.
And for those Mad Knitter Groupies the fingers did appear in a photo  |
