Riverina PT Cruisers and surronding Districts- Windscreens 5 Years, 6 Months ago
The Windscreen Doctor in Wagga has advised me that as they have been doing some tinting for some of us they are now offering all PT Cruisers be it Wagga or anyone around the districts that tints will be done for $242, much cheaper than others here and front windscreen replacements are at a price nearly half of what other quotes I have got at a couple of other national dealers here. I will not name the others but remember the PT is a fully encapsuled screen and is expensive.
One of the quotes I got was $1100 and when mentioned to this fellow he rang his supplier and will supply and fit for us for around $560 (don't quote me exactly on that) so as you can see some are really going for a good profit margin.
I don't need a screen yet but in general conversation he said they are happy to do business with any of us and at that price.
I know I will be supporting him when I'm ready and I'm sure my Insurance company will be happy with that price also.
Happy Cruisin and hopefully not too many smashed windscreens.

great stuff, that's what the club is all about.

With the difference in price, there is a bit of a reason but I don't know if it's justified (probably not), but you will find usually the $1100 is an actual factory windscreen and the cheaper ones are aftermarket. I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the aftermarket ones and they are probably better than the factory ones.

When I broke mine back in 2001 I had no choice but to get the dearest one and ecen then had to wait 6 weeks or something. Long story
