Hi everyone, I have spoken to Mark's sister Michelle, she works at Myers in the city. Apparently they will match $ or$ re donations. It is just a thought. She is happy to organize that for us if you choose to donate there. It is a very sad time. Mark and I know alot of people that have been affected by this terrible disaster!!!! All up over the day we had 8 PT's a 300c and a couple of Land Cruisers (trying to get in on the Cruiser action).
The whole day went very smooth for something that was organised in very short notice and I'd like to thank each and everyone of you for your support in a time of need and the MP's for the use of their home.
Also I'd like to congradulate Wayne (CREWZR) for his jaw dropping news,and Mark and Margaret for rounding up enough family and friends so we could arrive at the amount of $1200
The auctionere's (Teekay & Dot) also done a great job and so did the ticket sales girls(Dot & Erica) yes Dot was non stop all day,I did see her sit down long enough to eat though THANKS DOT.
We did arrive at the amount I hoped but I thought maybe we'd have a few more PTCDU members from VIC anyway we are going to have another couple of raffles at COTM with proceeds also going to the RED CROSS bushfire appeal so maybe people can jump aboard that way to donate.
The BBQ lunch and dinner were great thanks to Mark (the cook) and the company was fantastic. THANKYOU ALL

Thanks everyone for making this such a great day. What a great effort!!!Don't forget with Myer matching our money we have a grand total of $2400. Well done I'm sure it will be well used by the people of Vic. Dot, I can't believe you have photos up so quickly. Matt and Cam will have a go at trying to put our photos on a bit later!!! We have some good ones as well. I still can't believe we had all they sexy PT's on our front lawn. I sight we won't forget for awhile here in down town C'Burn. Awsome

You have put the Club out into the wider community, as much more than just a car club - but a club concerned about others.
We are sure that all PT owners, be they members of one of the PT Cruiser Clubs, just owners or viewers of this forum, would send you all a big heart felt congratulations on your very successful night.

Thanks to everyone who went to Mark and Margaret's home. The day was the result of a team effort. Was terrific to see how everyone pulled together and as such we achieved an excellent result.

Thanks Phil for putting the photos on for me, they look really good, the 300c comes up very smart and so does "Charlie" he is very cute, don't you think?? Overall it was a great day & big effort by everyone, thanks again to the club, we could't have done it without you all!!!
