A gathering has been arranged for people to get together at Mark and Margaret Pellegrino's home in Craigeburn on Saturday Feb 14th. It is a BYO everything BBQ -also bring some salads or sweets to share. You are welcome to arrive for lunch or later for tea.

As mentioned by Phil in the earlier post there will be an opportunity to donate some money for the victims of the current bushfire crisis. 100% of the monies collected on the day will then be forwarded onto the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal. The funds will be given in the name of the Club.

Why am I PTless?
I arrive home the week before this run with a key so should not be PTless. In any event you will be o/s and will not be using your PT so that would be another option!

sorry I have been slack with the organising .... I'm stuck in P with road cuts due to circumstances caused by the fires .. Phantom & I are safe but staying OUT of the thick of things .. from memory meeting point was to be at Mc donalds cnr hasting rd & thompsons rd cranbourne sth was going to post & email over weekend ..... I have all info at home ... not too sure if we should go to ANYWHERE with the current conditions ... PM me ... as work & home email not accessible ... We are keeping a close eye on the Fire Crisis here in Victoria. We are currently reviewing this run date with the Victorian Planning Committee. Please continue to watch this 'thread' for further updates about the proposed run for Saturday. I will endeavor to get an email out to you all as soon as we confirm what is happening.

We apologise for any confusion, but I am sure you understand the need for us to review the Club run in the current crisis situation here in Victoria.

As I am working on Saturday (Ambulance) I will not be able to attend the run.

Wayne I'm sure everyone would understand if it were cancelled and moved to another date due to the current situation down there.

After alot of consideration I have decided to cancel Saturdays run,the idea I have instead is to get together at Mark & Margaret's (PTGT)place on Saturday for a bit of a fund raiser for the red cross fire appeal. We could have lunch,coffee whatever
The amount people donate must not be more than they can afford,we all know times are tuff enough but these people need our help if you can only afford $1 $2 $5 $10 or so on thats fine (It all adds up).
I've had a few emails with attendance replies (to Mels email)already so we are off to a good start.
Each person that donates will be put in a book with the amount they donate (this is not to show who paid more or less )this will be so everyone can see the total amount and that I have not left anything out.
If anyone else has some ideas or If you are able to come on Saturday please let me know.
If you cant make it or you are from another state but would still like to donate with PTCDU send me a pm,other than that you donate with the red cross,police station or Bunnings in Vic (not sure about other states)
