Sunday 17 May saw 12 PT Cruisers & there occupants hed to Port Hughes on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula to watch a Calvacade of Cars over 30 years old. This is part of a week long event known as the Kernewek Lowender, a celebration of the Cornish Imigrants that settled in the area to mine copper

2 years ago we took part in the run ( over 800 vehicles) this year the vehicles had to be over 30 years old so we chose to watch the run.

John & Joanne went up early & set up the gazebos to secure our vantage spot & with all the cars parked it was time for the procession, just as the vehicles reaches us so did the light rain which set in for 20 minutes.

there was a wide range of vehicles & hardy occupants

even a few Chryslers

and check out the roof for a bit of Aussie ingenuity

Once the parade had finished, it took an hour & 20 minutes, we had lunch & then set off to check out what the local area had to offer.
